Change Is In The Air

 In Uncategorized

The summer season is over and autumn is here. For us, autumn is the time of year that is marked by great change. The leaves on the trees change colors and begin to fall off. The temperature changes as the air becomes cooler and crisper. And daylight changes more quickly into night as the days grow shorter and shorter. Everywhere we look we see change all around us. Generally speaking, most people dislike change, maybe because of the uncertainty and discomfort that change can sometimes bring.  However, change can be good and positive when we approach it with the right attitude. The key to successful change is that we must have enough faith to continue to follow the Lord despite any and every obstacle that may come to try and hinder us. This was a lesson that the Israelites had a difficult time learning.

The children of Israel confronted change as they made their journey from the bondage of Egypt, to the blessings of the Promised Land. Unfortunately, along the way, many of them lost their faith in God and began to murmur and complain against Him, losing sight of His faithfulness and precious promises and focusing only on their current circumstance. This lack of faith caused many of them to die in the wilderness. What they didn’t understand is that whenever we move towards our destiny we will encounter a wilderness experience. The wilderness always lies between our past and the hope of our future. The wilderness is temporary and God never plans for us to linger there long. Instead, He uses the wilderness to test us and prepare our hearts for where He is taking us so that when we get there we are fully prepared to possess all that God has for us.

I believe 2015 is going to be a year of great transition for us at The Life. God has great things in store for us. “A Flood Is Coming Our Way”. We just need some Fearless Believers who know that no matter how things look, God is control and faithful to fulfill every promise that He has made. Stay in the fight. Keep the faith. Our greater is on the way.
